Make-A-Wish

The Scott Fire Department is proud and humbled to announce its new role as an official “Wish Maker” community partner for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This meaningful collaboration is dedicated to bringing joy, strength and hope to children facing critical illnesses by making their dreams of becoming a firefighter come true.

Children with life-threatening medical conditions often endure tremendous challenges—physically, emotionally, and socially. Through this partnership, the Scott Fire Department will help grant wishes to children who dream of becoming a firefighter for a day, offering unforgettable experiences such as riding in a firetruck, touring the firehouse and bonding with real-life heroes in uniform.

“We are honored to stand beside these incredible children and the Make-A-Wish Foundation”. “Our hope is that these experiences will bring a sense of joy, courage, and renewed strength to these young warriors as they continue their fight.”

The partnership not only highlights the department’s commitment to community outreach but also reflects our dedication to supporting families and children in need of inspiration and hope.
